Fat Secret app scanner is hard to use
Looks like I may have just been holding items too close(?). When I hold the items out farther, my camera focuses quicker and grabs the item quicker.

Fat Secret app scanner is hard to use
S7 Edge. It's all about the lighting. Sometimes it will click right away, but many times I have to twist/turn to get the lighting just right for the scanner to capture the code. I use a scanner on my lottery app and it clicks right away every time.

How can I edit nutritional information for an item in FS already?
Good call. For me that day, I just used a similar product. But, it's probably better to re-create a correct item for future users. Everything was off. It had half the protein, twice the carbs and somewhere around 9 times the sugar.

Fat Secret app scanner is hard to use
I've tried cleaning my camera and everything else I can think of, but it takes me 30 - 60 seconds to find the exact perfect lighting for my FS scanner to focus in and actually read bar-codes for some reason.

How can I edit nutritional information for an item in FS already?
Came across a second item where the nutritional data was all wrong today. It was a Slim Fast Advanced Nutrition shake. All stats were wrong for this item. It was using stats from the regular shake, not the Advanced Nutrition Shake.

I'm looking at "Atkins: Frozen Beef Fiesta Taco Bowl" and I do not see that option.

I don't see that in the app, or on the website. At the bottom of the (Android) app, for that product, I see "Other Options: More products (and) Find nearby", no "Edit" option.

How can I edit nutritional information for an item in FS already?
I scanned a packaged meal today and the correct item came up, but all the nutritional information is off. It's not off by much, but it's off - I'm guessing the food manufacturer changed their recipe a little? For example, the calories on FS say 360, but the package actually shows 310. (and it's a 1 serving meal). Is there any way I can edit nutritional information on an item already in the system without creating the item all over again?

If your pressure cooker is big enough, you can put a small stand or rack in it so the fat drains down below the food. I have used one of those collapsible steamers for that. The only thing a pressure ...
