Poached Eggs

Quick and easy way to poach eggs without the water and mess.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Spray a microwavable bowl with cooking spray, like Pam, bottom and sides well.
  2. Break two eggs in to bowl, poke egg yolks with fork.
  3. Spray eggs with cooking spray (salt and pepper optional.)
  4. Cover bowl with a spatter-proof lid.
  5. Microwave on high for 2 minutes for harder yolks, 1 1/2 minutes for softer yolks.

much easier, but not the same as poaching. in fact, I used to beat an egg in a small bowl, microwave it, and put it on a bagel/english muffin/toast and add in w/e to it. so other than leaving the yolk intact... I don't see the real difference.

Just tried it this morning for breakfast. Nuked it for only 1 min (for half runny, half hard yolk) and it worked like a charm!
