Belgian Waffles

A delicious version of Belgian waffles.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put egg yolks in a mixing bowl, (egg whites in the other bowl), add sugar and soft butter to egg yolks and beat with a food mixer.
  2. Add milk, keep mixing and then add sifted flour. Mix thoroughly.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites to a foam condition and then mix with other ingredients. Batter is ready to bake. Bake in a waffle maker.

Can I use artificial sugar in this

1 serving is 2 waffles, about 100 grams. This recipe makes about 18 waffles. I also like to add fresh fruits or dried berries to these waffles, while they are in a waffle maker. Taste even better then! (But of course it adds calories to it)
