Help/Advice with goal weight
Hi All

So I am approaching my goal weight I set back in June 2013. This was just an initial weight that I though would be a good number, I have been there before last in 2002.

As I approach it, I have been thinking if I should go lower. Let me give a bit of background.

I started to put on weight once I left high school. I am 1.61m tall and by the time I hit 23 (around 1997), I weighed 97 kg's. I went to a dietician and with her help I managed to lose 27kg's and get down to 72 kg's.

I never really got into maintenance, and the weight came back on, and then some. In 2002 I probably weighed around 100kg's. I lost weight down to 82kg's and again put it on again till in 2005 I tried again. This time I was 105kg's and got down to 92kgs.

And the cycle continued... until this year, and weighing 120kg's I decided to make a change.

Is 85kg's a fair weight for me. I have a relatively big bone structure, but if you go by BMI, my BMI at 85kg's is 32.7 and I will still be considered heavily overweight. I hate BMI calculations Smile

I am 40 now. Can I realistically get below 80? Maybe to 75? Maybe to 70? Should I try?

I really think I should. Any input will be welcome.

Cheers
