I have tried other diets and I always seem to falter....
I am looking for a lifestyle change and not another diet.

How many calories should I eat a day?
There are several different equations that dietitians use to calculate how many calories a person should eat per day in order to maintain a stable weight. The most precise calorie equations include factors such as height, weight, age, gender, activity level and stressors like an injury or disease.
There is a simple way that you can estimate your baseline calorie needs: Take your weight in pounds and multiply by 12. This is assuming you do a light level of activity. It does not include additional calories you may need from exercise.....then to lose weight .........try to deduct 700 calories from how many you need

How do you work the recipe part of this
on the right hand side of the page ....you will see a list called : my cookbook...click on this!....then you will see my cookbook and under that will say my own recipes, to the right of this one it will say "submit a recipe"(click on these words)... you are now at the create a recipe page....follow the steps from here.to create your own masterpieces..
