I've got to find a way to lose weight. I just keep getting bigger and bigger and my back is killing me. Not to mention other health problems creeping up all due to obesity. I need someone to be accountable to because being accountable to myself is not enough.

I know .6 seems like a tiny amount, but since the last time I weighed in at 281.2 I went up to 289. Then I had a car accident and it jump started me. So really I've lost about 9 pounds in three weeks. I'm trying to keep it going. I would feel so much better if I was carrying less.

Going slow, but at least it's going! As long as the scale moves a little bit downward each week, I'm happy. Don't really have a big goal, I think small goals are better, so shooting for first 10 pounds. Then I'll work on 10% of original weight. And so on. Just want to get healthier, not concerned about looks so much, although I kind of cringe when I see myself in a mirror, my starting weight is the heaviest I've every been.
I know I can do it, I've done it before with Weight Watchers. I look forward to feeling better and better.

Last week was a terrible week to try to lose weight. I had my visitor and it was all I could do not to eat everything in the house. So I just tried to maintain and see where I landed after it was over. The scale actually reads .2 lighter this morning. Better than gaining 3 pounds, for sure! And now back to trying to lose.
