My personal goal for this year is to finally lose the 60 pounds that I have gained since before the birth of my daughter, Jenna, 19 1/2 years ago. I would love to be 60 pounds lighter by this time next year. That means I will have to lose an average of 5 lbs. per month.
This is about 1 1/4 lbs per week. I believe this is a doable goal.

By May 1st, I should have lost 20 lbs. putting me at a weight of 177 pounds and this would be more than 10% of my current weight lost, putting me in a better health position.

I am 50 years old now and will be 51 in July of 2009. By the end of July, I should have lost 35 lbs. putting me at a weight of 162 pounds. That will be a great achievement.

By the end of my son's birthday month, September, I should have lost 45 lbs. putting me at a weight of 152 pounds.

By end of December 2009, I should have lost the 60 lbs goal weight putting me at 137 pounds. This will be the weight where I will stay.

The scoop on Splenda?
Hi GlennM, I believe Stevia is a good product because it is natural. But with all things always, in moderation. It may be that you are getting Charlie Horses from lack of potassium or calcium from an increase in your exercise routine. Make sure you are drinking a Gatorade or a glass of skim milk, and eating a banana or more dark green leafy vegetables those days when you are exercising more vigorously. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Onebusycrazymom
