Watched the documentary on obesity on HBO. That really scared me and is encouraging me to do what I have to do to get this weight off of me. I have genetics that already make me a candidate for heart disease and stroke but I don't have to add to it by eating poorly and not being active. I can do this. 20lbs lighter by August is a must!

I went back to kettlebell class today. It was tough but I made it. I am really determined to get this weight off of me. I looked at my belly in the mirror and I wasn't pleased but I know that I'm making the changes to get the body I want. To be more healthy, fit and stronger as I turn 40 this year is very important to me.

Yesterday when I went to my doctor, I explained to her how hard it is to lose weight. She suggested that I keep my carb intake to under 60grams. How is that even possible? On average I'm at double that amount daily. Sigh...
