I'm the poster child for gaining back what I've lost. See my before and after picture? That was in 2013 when I changed my lifestyle and lost 50 pounds and felt greater than I've felt in a long time. well, guess what? It didn't stick and that's why my start weight and current weight are now the same in early 2016...Big Sigh...
A big financial upheaval and family move in early 2014 caused me to stress out and I let go of my good habits and replaced them with bad ones or non-existent ones, like not exercising. At all. I kept trying to get back on the wagon, but the bad habits felt like a tidal wave that I just couldn't break free from. Sometimes I really cared and still couldn't turn things around. Sometimes I didn't care at all.
Needless to say, getting back to this point is embarrassing, sad, upsetting...you name it and I feel it.
Time to see if I can do this again.
I'm married, almost 22 years, with 2 kids (son age 17 and daughter age 13). I work full time in advertising/marketing in Southern California. I have had a lifetime struggle with weight, seriously, since about age 7 or 8. I'm so tired of the battle and feeling like I'm missing so much of life that's out there.
