I'm updating my bio--

I'm Tricia, approx 27 years old :D. I had been obese, and at times, morbidly obese, since the birth of my first child in august 2000. I'm approx 5'9 1/2" - 5'10". Pre-preg weight--155, post-preg weight 226. Lowest weight post preg--190. Shortly after, got a job setting down and was also stressing over home life (horrible husband), bought myself a new scale and was appalled by what I saw whenever I stood on it. 267 lbs. I was a size 26 jeans. Now, a lot of people dont believe me about the pants size but I do not like "muffin top" and so I consider myself to be whatever is "comfortable," not skin tight. Whenever I filed for divorce in August 2004, I weighed 226 lbs. It was nice to see the weight start going down, but then in April 2005, I found out I was preg. again. I was 256 post, dec 2005. I lost back to pre-preg weight but lost interest and before I knew it I was 250 again. In Aug 2006, I decided to start working out, lost 40 lbs, was 207 at lowest and then I stopped working out. I fluctuated between 207 and 220 a lot. I was still not happy so I decided in Jan 2008 that it was time to make a change. Scale weight 214....working my way to success and "normal" weight.

measurements
Does anyone know how to measure broccoli and cauliflower? The serving size is 3 oz which is just under 1/2 a cup...but how exactly do you measure it?

Steady Weight
DM, I'm extremely glad to hear that (what might not look to you as much progress because there is no weight drop) you have made progress! Do you keep measurements? I learned that my measurements were where it was at and not losing weight was feeling much better whenever I could see that I was losing inches. I hate it though, now, I walk everyday..you know how our weather is. In fact, if your kiddo is still in the same school as mine is in, (i think you said that once before) you may see me walking a lot after school if you come to pick your kiddo up. Anyways, I dont lose any weight, maintain the same and I HATE it...I want to lose weight and inches. URGH!! Good luck and continue!
