Hi Everyone, My name is Jacquie and I'm an artist and mother of three great kids.
My goal is to get back into the habit of planning great tasting, healthy meals for myself and my family. I also really want to wear the other 90% of my wardrobe that's sitting in my closet waiting for me to lose the extra 10 lbs I've let accumulate.
PS.
When I get to my goal weight I plan to post a more recent photo! That one's a couple of years old but who's telling! LOL

I also have a website and I often blog on weight issues and other things women talk about. If you're interested check it out at

Chocolate Cheesecake recipe
I had issues with the amount of Splenda, too, as I much prefer the taste of Equal but I just made it with a little less than 1 cup of Splenda and it was fantastic. I love Lindt's 86% cocoa chocolate bar so I'm a fan of dark, dark chocolate anyway. When baking you have to know if you're measuring dry ingredients you go by the size of utensil and not actual weight of ingredient. 8 oz of Splenda just means 8 little 1 oz scoops, not 8 oz on a food scale. Good luck with it next time because it's a recipe worth figuring out till you get it the way you like it!

Salty and Crunchy
I sometimes make some smartpop popcorn and sprinkle on some white cheddar seasoning made for popcorn. Or all dressed. I don't add butter and it's still tasty. I'm a potato chip nut so I reaally miss salty crunchy things as well.

Phase 1 SBD Buddy?
I didn't eat many eggs on phase 1. I had chicken or turkey slices instead for my protein. Was that cheating?

Loose saggy skin?
Tofu is dee-licious!I like the meduim to firm textured ones but you'll have to try out which one you prefer. Great in a stir fry with vegetables.
