Having a hard time losing weight. Trying to balance the correct amounts of fat, carb, protien per day with exercise. Have Hashimotos thyroid disease so it does not help things along. But I am really excited about this site as it combines a lot of tools and community to support my efforts. Plus, I can sync the site to my cell while I am on the go, that is a big bonus!

Fitbit has an open API
OK, so I didn't see it there which is weird cause I thought the Fitbit database was for all to see and use. I made my own custom food called Fat Secret as you suggested and will use that from now on!!! I love your workaround! Thanks

Okay, so I have a solution that has been working great for me! I track all my food on FS, and at the end of the day get the calorie count. I created a food item on FitBit called Fat Secret, with each serving worth 100 calories, and at the end of the day, make one entry.

Cool idea! I'm going to give it a try..

I would like to be able to use the FatSecret calorie counter with the Fitbit Drive. FatSecret's calorie counter is superior to the Fitbit calorie counter.

Any Chance of Fatsecret linking to Fitbit's open API? Your calorie tracker is the best and you would get alot more users, as all the Fit bit users are begging for a better calorie tracker. The Lose it App works with fitbit, but its not nearly as good as fat secret.

Please do this!
