First day with my Fitbit Flex, and it recorded the following:
Daily Totals (my goal each day is 10000 steps)
11,312 steps
4.29 miles
I did 4 rounds in the mall because of the crappy weather; 2 at lunch and 2 after I got off from work. That alone was at least 3 miles of the 4.29, the rest was just normal activity around the store, to and from the car, and some shopping. I've still got to make sure I have entered my stride length the correct way, might need to test it to be sure.
The Fitbit buzzed and lit up when I reached my goal, pretty cool :)
Now I'm committed ! Got to make it dance each day! Well, I don't always have the time or opportunity to walk as much as I did today though. Will do what I can. Will be glad when it stops raining and warms up a bit, I missed not going to the track.
Cheers ! :)

Another happy loss :) It's really been all about the walking. I've walked A LOT this week. Of the 7 days in the past week, I hit my WW Activity Monitor baseline 5 days, and earned 32 additional Points, of which I ate only 10 of those. I went over my Daily Points 2 of the 7 days, and hit target or was slightly under the other 5. This was also the second week of my Curves fitness membership, and I attended at least 3 workouts a week. I wasn't able to go this morning due to a drs appt but will go again this afternoon plus get my walking in. I can do the same tomorrow morning before work. I find I am looking forward to my workout times. I enjoy the walking the most :) Now I need to update and check in on my challenges both here and on the WW site, and get ready for another week !!!! :)
Weigh-in:
192.2 lb
lost so far:
12.8 lb
still to go:
32.2 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

Today I walked at lunch but only had time for one time round the mall instead of two, so I made sure I went to the track after I got home today. Now, it was 20 degrees colder tonight than yesterday, and windy, but I'm motivated so I dressed warm, plugged in my music walk mix on my phone and went. My goal was to do 5 rounds (1.25 miles) but by the time I was almost done with round four I was getting cold. Well, here come two skinny gals, probably half my age, passing me with ease....and guess what THEY did? They didn't even make it a second round. All they did was the ONE and they QUIT !!! HAHA...guess what I got energized to do? YEP, two more !!! I did SIX !! Threw my arms up in the air like Rocky when I finished that last one !! It felt great to do that !!! It's half the 5K I'm getting ready for. Ready to go back to Curves in the morning and then to walk again before work. Happy !!!!
I also like my music mix....when you have the headphones in your ears and playing it loud, you can't hear yourself breathing heavy except between songs !! Love IHeart Radio, there's some really good songs there. :)

I always love to visit my parents, but it's hard to pass up her good cooking. I ate moderately but still went over points just a bit (but not my RDI). Made the healthiest choices I could and cut back earlier in the day. My only splurge was a 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes and a homemade biscuit.
Thankfully I did my circuit at Curves this morning and also came back and walked the track owned by the city - 4 times around as fast as I could then one trip around to cool down. I've got to find out how far around it is to calculate my mileage. It's the old high school track and they gave it to the city when they built a new school.
Back to work for a busy day tomorrow including my mall walk; next time to Curves will be Thursday morning. Hope everyone is having a great day !!!!

I was in a Tuesday Morning store and found the step unit and risors, plus a DVD for $14.99 so I decided to buy and try. It is a really good workout, and I about fell on my kiester trying to do the fancy moves! I settled for just moving and stepping up and down with some crunches and kicks as much as possible. Some of this was very complicated, but I'm going to go back and do the beginner stuff as much as possible, and watch & learn too. The most important thing is to MOVE, to do SOMETHING when I put that DVD on and set up the step in front of my TV. The step is not the fancy one they sell on the website but is good enough for me.
