Thanks to all my wonderful "buddies" for supporting me on my trip back to phase 1. I feel so blessed to have your encouragement!!! I just had a sweet reminder of the
JOY
of eating healthy. My kids talked me into picking them up Subway today as they are home on Spring Break. My 3 year old daughter picked at her sandwich for awhile and then said,"I wish I could have a salad like you mom." I was more than happy to make her one!!!

Tomorrow I start phase 1 again. I am tired of feeling yucky from all the junk I have started eating again. I have my meals planned out for the next 2 weeks, including family dinners so that should help. I need to get these extra pounds off that are ALL sitting in my stomach area. YUCK! I know I will feel great once the sugar and carbs are flushed out. Here goes...

Alright, time to admit defeat. I have eaten horribly for two weeks and it shows on the scale. It's amazing how hard it is to take off and how easy it is to put it on! After Easter I am going back to phase 1. Not fun, but necessary at this point.

I just got home from our neighborhood playgroup where I ate a large piece of coffee cake. I am not hungry now and must fight to not eat just cuz it is lunch time. My older kids are home from school today also, so there are more opportunities to eat their "leftovers." I am determined not to graze and to turn to God when I want to eat even though I am not hungry. I want my focus to be on food for fuel, not just cuz it's there.

The "fog" of PMS and TOM is finally lifting! I feel normal again and actually want to eat clean. I have started today to track my eating. I am waiting to step on the scale though. Maybe another day to hopefully rid myself of the water weight.:) I had a HORRIBLE 2 weeks of eating JUNK! I wish I could find the "magic cure" for all those cravings. Maybe some good herbal supplements. One of these days I will have to look into it. I am tired of working so hard for 3/4 of the month and then blowing it the last 1/4. Then starting all over again. Anyway, here's to another blessed day full of undiscovered joys.
