I'm an elementary special education teacher. I got married in September and bought a house in Feb. Can't imagine why I would have put on lbs. with stress. :) So, I want to get in the best shape I can before having kids. I know it sounds crazy, but I have wasted too many years in my 20's with weight up and down. I feel so good and fun when I am in shape. Lord knows why I keep putting it on. So,I'm hoping this will help me learn to keep it off and learn life changing healthy eating.

Monthly Cravings
That's it! Salty foods. I've been working towards taking a walk, ride my bike, etc. It took me years to put weight on. It's going to take time to take it off I know. It's just frustrating with hurdles like this. Thanks for the info. and empathy. Smile

Not enough calories
You're absolutely right! Our bodies need fuel in order to burn fat and calories. I'm reading and learning. In order for me to lose weight, I have to increase my exercise and watch my portions of food. I eat healthy, most of the time, but eat too much. It's amazing how our bodies work. Congrats on your success! You're so close! Very Happy

entering recipe
I'm not sure how to delete a recipe I was trying to enter. When I entered each ingredient into my diet calendar it came to the correct amount of calories, etc., but when I entered it into a recipe it tripled in the amount of nutritional info. Anyone know how to enter it correctly? Does anyone know how to enter the recipe from my diet calendar? It's a great recipe. Thanks!
