Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment where she really let me have it on my weight. She recommended I seriously consider lap band surgery. I told her I hadn't even really given diet/exercise a serious try and she said time was running out and that I needed to get weight off very soon (BMI 38 qualifies me for the band I guess). Anyway, here we go (unfortunately not for Bud Light) I'm on 2200 cal a day 40% carb, 30% protein, 30% fat. Goal is to exercise weekly 1000 cal. I've got 19" neck and 50" at belly button and its time to make all my numbers smaller. Getting blood work done monday for cholesterol etc. This time will be different in that its really about living to see 50, not trying for size 36 pant. Hopefully keeping that in mind will keep me on track.

I noticed that I was in a hurry, and rushed to eat... had been up for 3 hours and was startving.... didn't check calories until afterwards. I should have one serving of breakfast pizza instead.
