Started out the Saturday good with a nice walk of 40 minutes. I made my goal of walking Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Friday I had a very bad headache all day and so I slept most of the day that is okay those days happen.
I kept a food journal for three days and found it very difficult to do but practice I will do. I just got to keep trying.
I am not about to give in and just say I can't do this. I can't my health both physical and mental needs the boost of a healthy living to feel better and I know it.

I have been out of my walking routine for months now since I injured my knee but finally I got me a great super duty knee brace and it is helping immensely so I have put on my calendar to start back walking Tuesday Wednsday and Thursday for an aim of thirty minutes if possible but if my knee starts to hurt backing down to just my twenty minute walk. So I have marked my calendar for walking those three days.

I had gotten completely discouraged but now I am back in the saddle ready to start walking again. My knee brace finally came in and I got it on Tuesday now I need to start back up in exercising. The brace for my knee is very helpful from being in pain now I just need to do the exercising. I started this last week doing better portion control and also eating a more rounded meal and doing meal planning. I need to work on my sleep hygiene too.

I have not been here in awhile. I injured my knee pretty bad that it hurt to walk about a month and my diet went down hill from there and lots of stress but I am back now and I am ready to get back up. I saw my doctor and I am getting a knee brace fitted on Tuesday so that will really make a difference. I started back walking about three days ago. I am loving the fall weather here in Portland OR. Cool in the mornings and strangely warm in the afternoons. I have started doing the recumbent bike a little bit. I know that not exercising has really brought my mood down so every little bit is starting to pick me back up. I saw a nurse who does nutrition education and she is going to get me into a nutritionist.
Today I am carving out my pumpkin with some of the family and the little ones. So excited.
I am working with my partner in really getting serious about the lifestyle change of being healthier and eating better and more exercise. First step is we are going to plan something out better and we have made our start date of October 28th to make some serious changes in our lifestyle. Take on a more healthier lifestyle one to help us lose weight and feel happier. I am feeling real positive about this.
