I think I've been on and off here since about 2008 and it's amazing and depressing to look at my stats throughout the years. After my daughter's wedding and a complete hysterectomy, I've gained back 36 lbs this year. I got rid of all of my bigger clothes and have nothing left to wear. Getting back in the saddle and detoxing from my year of food choices. Thank you all so much for the hope, love, n support when I need it most!

does anyone have proof of a reverse mommy tummy?
I'd love to know the answer to that one. Also, if it can bounce back w/exercise, is age a factor or how long ago you had the babies?

I am considering South Beach and want to know where to start. Please help. I am unemployed and can't afford to join their website at this point.

OM Gal: There are plenty of South Beachers on this website (join their group). Also, I would suggest getting the South Beach diet book which has all of the phases and recipes for each phase. It's been out for awhile, so you can probably get it new or used on amazon/internet pretty cheap.

Sorry about the unemployment--it's rough out there. Maybe this is your time to get out and exercise and take care of yourself while you're looking for that new job. Hang in there!!
