Hi Im married 44 years old and have three kids (well two are grown up now) Im also a teacher,have tried various diets and have been told that its because I dont eat enough that I cant loose weight. As I love fruit and vedge I thought Id give this one a try.

I like the odd beer or glass of wine. Can anyone tell me if they still have a drink on the fat smash diet because when I skimmed through the book it looks as if you might have to be t total for the whole of the diet and to be honest I wont survive that.

Hi its nice to know that Im not the only one who feels a jerk. I need to lose around 40 pounds and have just bought the book. My only concern with it is that you cannot have an alcoholic drink, and I do like a beer or a glass of wine now and again.
Have just been glancing at the south beach diet and mulling over which might be more suited. Can provide you with loadsa support though if you want any. Best of luck
