Today is the day for the rest of my life. I started back with my Aquatic Classes today after a 2-month hiatus, Mother went into the hospital the week of Thanksgiving and was released on Thanksgiving day. This totally ruins a workout schedule. My Nespresso schedule becomes a full-time job during November through December and the first part of January. Now 146.6 lbs instead of 138.9 I'm committed and back at improving my health and myself for me 1st them my husband. Blessing to all!

It's been quite a while since I've been on the website here. In July my mom was in the hospital and I was off the map.
So here I am. During my mom's hospitalization and recovery .... and then my dad's outpatient surgery I did not control my exercise or eating very well. I got back up to 144lbs and no excersise for about three weeks. I'm at my mom and dad's on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I pickup lunch for them or cook them and run their errands. Dad's much better and now he runs their errands. Last week I started working out again and eating right...and this week I've made a commitment to physical welfare and my weight loss. Stepping on the scale at the Health Zone where I swim and exercise I weighed in a 139.5. A new low for me. I so glad my weight gain was a motivator to get my butt in gear. Ya gotta move to lose it.

Well, it's been a while since I've logged in and reported anything. In between then and now...I had a business trip to Utah, Mother's Day, Mother's Birthday, Memorial Day and Father's Day. I am getting over a sinus infection that developed on May 10th. During that period I did not work out; it was hard to even think about working out when feeling like dog poo.
Yesterday was my first workout since the May 7th and I'm a little sore today. My husband and I do Metabolic Resistance Training or it can be called turbulence training. After Father's Day I was up 2 lbs and now I'm back to 143lbs. My end goal is 130 lbs.
Once or twice a day I treat myself to a Vanillia Frozen Latte using 2% milk. The base I use is 70 calories and the cup of 2% milk is 130 calories so my wonderful icy treat is only 200 total calories.
I've been staying under my calories in this Oklahoma heat (heat index has been averaging 110) I don't have much of an appetite. We're eating well, organic veggies, organic chicken, turkey an fish.
