Hello all,
Today is July 4, 2020.
I have been here for 6 years now. I realized that by looking back at my data input. I realized to my sadness that for the past 6 years I have been hovering around the same weight...Between the lowest 212lb in 2014 an highest 242?
It is time or never, to get down to 160lb and feel like myself again.
I am now set on this journey. Maybe because of the Covid, my fracture and seclusion here, I am in a different place mentally. I am more focused. I feel I can do it. Even if I have to dodge all the bad food these people are serving.
Yes, all muffins, compotes, waffles, bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, cakes, puddings are going back to the kitchen.
I am eating less, and I am not hungry.
I exercise about 1 hour a day in 1-15 minute segments. Mostly upper body, but I see and feel the difference.
This time, this will be my journey to the bottom.
For those of you who like a glass of wine like me. Don't! until you have reached your goal. Not helping at all. Makes you lose control over food.
And yes, I am working "from home" in the rehab :-)

sorry, it does sound confusing. Wondering if anyone knows of a good recipe for a LC carbquick crust for a quiche. I know it can be done with almond flour, but that is expensive and I have carbquick in the pantry already.

Prepping meals for the week
Please share real, practical techniques if you do that. I would like to understand how to. Extra fridge necessary? plastic boxes, how do you think it and organize 1-3 meals a day and for the week? Weekends included?

Hello friends,
Just wondering if any one has any experience with dr. Eric Berg's protocol (types of body, etc.) He is the LC school of thought, but seems to bring some more elements to it. I am stuck for 2 weeks, doing what I know should work, 20 gr of carbs, high fat, protein, and my body does not move more than 1 lb down and then back up again. Nothing like the well know 5 lbs per week, in the first 2 weeks.
Please let me know of your experiences, and if you are familiar with dr. Berg's protocol and supplements (which are supposed to boost organ functions in the body)
