17 July 2016

Exercise bike and a few other things are ordered as of this morning. I have a running list on amazon of other things I will need (or want) to make some of the recipes that look amazing on a bunch of different sites. I have to get some variations going or this isn't going to work....

Boyfriend is still saying he will eat the foods or at least try them....if we don't like them..oh well...at least I can say that we tried. I've got myself wondering...since I don't ever think a recipe I follow explicitly never seems to have enough flavor and I add more...can I "safely" do that with low carb recipes?

I woke up this morning feeling a bit frumpy and I was right according to my weigh in. That's what motivated me to press the "check out" button for the bike. lol I am hoping that helps. Have to figure this out before I feel like giving up. Not close yet...but I know me.

Off to find new things today.

The weight is not falling off as fast as it did in the beginning, but the inches still keep going down by at least 3/4 of an inch each week.

I've been looking at exercise bikes on Amazon. Can't afford anything fancy or too high tech, but I think whatever I do order will help add some exercise to my day. Haven't been doing anything but normal daily routines. I "think" I am feeling good enough to at least try to add SOMETHING to my routine now. If it turns out the body still won't handle it yet, I will have the bike for when it does.

On a totally off the wall note... My boyfriend has now decided that as long as he likes what I cook for myself (he'll eat just about anything anyway...never been a picky eater), he will EAT less carbs. He has already cut himself off of the bread for a couple of weeks already. He hasn't eaten potatoes in probably two weeks... He now prefers the Flatout wraps I bought over bread for any sandwiches that he eats. I don't know if he is watching the weight thing or not. Eating less carbs is a start, I suppose, but I know it will be slow going or even maybe not work for him with his 6 to 10 cans of Busch Light every night. His reasoning.... "one less carb is one less carb, right?" lol At least I am feeling a little more supported here at home. OH... and I didn't have to justify and argue my way into ordering an exercise bike... HUGE accomplishment! LOL
