19 March 2018

Good afternoon everyone! So this morning I jump on the scale, and weighed in at 216.9, my blood sugar this morning was 119. I am happy to say the least. Although, I'm sure my blood sugar being lower is in relation to the fact that last night was the night to take my Bydurion shot, I'm still not complaining and I still have hopes of getting off my diabetic medication. Saturday I actually accomplished over 10,000 steps, however, today my back and one knee is feeling the pain of it. I know my back will not bother me as much once I lose the weight, and I'm sure the same can be said of my knee, although I have started back on my glucosamine tablets. Need to remember to take the Vitamin D w/Calcium vitamins as well. Have I mentioned, I really hate taking pills?

Hubby got the garage all cleaned out, now I just need to make myself get up early enough in the mornings to jump on my eliptical machine. It's been out there so long, ignored and forgotten that they digital screen doesn't light up anymore. And I can't adjust the tension, so, not sure how much it will help, but at least it's some exercise, right?

Today, I did go for a walk for lunch today, but instead of my usual 30 minute walk, it started raining on me, then stopped, then started again, then stopped. Ultimately, that means I got in 15 minutes of a walk. Not sure I will reach 10,000 steps today, but the goal is to keep trying, right? I have better luck reaching the step goals on the week-ends, as I can get up and move more than I can when I'm at work. Of course, Fitbit has set up a goal of 250 steps an hour between 9a and 6p, plus gives me a warning at 10 minutes to the hour, if I haven't reached the 250 steps mark. Of course over a 9 hour day, if I only do 250 steps an hour, that's 2,250 steps, so, I'm not going to complain there either. Then I just have to push myself to jump on the eliptical once I get home and see how many steps that adds to my day.

Alright, take care, everyone!

So, Lark decided to go capput on me the other day. I got on the scales this morning to check my weight, then went to view it in the app, and all my weight history is gone. Meal History is gone. Exercise history is semi there. And of course, sleep history is semi there. I put in a ticket to see what they say. If they can't fix this and they continue to bill my insurance, I will tell my insurance to stop paying them. I downloaded the myfitnesspal app, I was going to do fatsecret, but Trend, my virus protection doesn't like fatsecret, says it's high risk. So, I will continue to use fatsecret via the internet and use other things via mobile.

My blood sugar was 137 this morning, I'm sure that had everything to do with the bowl of honey nut cheerios I ate when I got home from class as well as the starbursts I ate throughout Algebra class last night. I have to do better with making better choices. Such as, not doing various weight loss challenges that I find here on fatsecret, without doing research on it first. I did read somewhere about a 14 day Hard boiled egg weight loss plan, but your primary food is the hard boiled egg, a little bit of fruit, a salad and once or twice a week some chicken. Not very healthy, however, I do love hard boiled eggs, so I could incorporate 2 boiled eggs for breakfast, throw in some benefiber water drink, some crystalite water drinks, and a healthy dinner after work, and perhaps 2 hard boiled eggs for lunch. Of course, if I add aloe juice to the water as well, that will also help to clean out the digestive track and help to replace the healthy bacteria in the intestines.

I promise, I'm not looking for a loose weight quick deal, I'm just looking for something I can sustain on a long term basis that I can switch back and forth between so I'm less likely to get bored and tired of it. That's my biggest deal, I don't see results fast enough and I get bored and tired. And yes, I know, I didn't get fat over night, so I'm not going to get skinny over night, but it was a lot easier and much more fun to get fat lol!

So, last n ight for dinner we had Mexican. I ordered what I always order, the enchalada supreme. 1 cheese, 1 chicken, 1 beef and 1 bean with lettuce and sour cream. Blood sugar this morning was 147. Apparently, Mexican is not good for blood sugar. Note to self.

So, I downloaded an app for ab workout, it was free. Now I'm thinking I'm going to have to remove it from my phone. I have all these external ads that pop up, yes, they are healthy ones, like "time to drink water" and stuff,(some are not healthy ones, some are advertisements for legal things or whatever) but every single time I want to use my phone, I have to slide to unlock, then use my fingerprint or password to unlock my phone. So, I'm not happy with it. When people complained about the ads in the review, I thought they were ads inside the program, not ads that would take over my phone.

I need to get back to walking and stuff. I haven't been doing too good on that lately. I also need to get back on Lark. I think I've ignored that app all week. ::le sigh;; I guess I've just been teetering on the edge of falling off the wagon this week. I haven't felt much like doing much of anything. Oh well, today is a new day.
