Additionally, my office is doing a pedometer challenge, which has turned out to be so much FUN!!!!! Im so much more motivated to walk and have fun w/ my kids, walk further or stronger during lunch :)
1st wk : 25,000 steps which = 10.5 miles
2nd wk: 43,000 steps
3rd wk: 60,013 steps
then i lost my pedometer at the park, playing w/ my kids ... BUmmer!!! =(
Bought rinky dink pedometer from Jamba Juice , its ok, i liked my previous one better.
Last wk i had 26,000 steps, today i have 32,819 steps so far... =) Its good.
My co worker started walking to and from work from the Sf bart station, instead of taking the hospital shuttle and she was boosted her weight loss/ mngmnt!!! So inspiring.

I have been walking routinely, but have not been eating properly. Im finding out that I over eat and binge eat sometimes. Now that i am more conscious of this fact about mylself, i am consious about the times when i am tempted to overeat, or emotional eat, or just keep eating because it tastes good...
I takes courage to share the above. I have been dealing w/ depression, and this impacts my eating habits. As a woman, i also know that our weight tends to fluctuate anyway... especialy pre/post/during menstral cycle, which also come w/ its own cravings.
I might start food journaling again, to be all the more conscious of what i am choosing to eat.
Grocery shopping w/ a list, then sticking to that list does help.
Planning and preparing meals @ home for home and work, does help.
Preparing or having healthy snacks on hand does help.
