Have you ever felt like now is the time; if you don't do it now you are going to die? I think I'm at the point with 36 just around the corner.
Back in 2005, I lost 117 lbs so I know it's possible, but I quit and thought it was so easy, I could slack and now It's been 8 years and I weigh more now then when I started...I gotta get this thing back on track - I could honestly die of a heart attack at any moment.
I'm happily married with a 7 year old son.
This isn't exactly day one but it's the day I start trying to make small changes towards January 1st, 2014...sort of like preparing. I realize that going "cold turkey" doesn't work for me, so I need to start slacking on food and adding some exercise slowly and building up good habits so I'll be ready. I know I can do it, I just need to finish and then maintain, which is what I failed at the last time.
