My name is Phillip James I am in the US Navy. I have almost 15 years in and plan to retire at 20.

I joined this site because I am currently out of Navy weight standards for my hieght at 5'8" the Navy says I should weigh no more than 181 lbs, I weigh 230. My BMI according to the Navy's method for measuring is 25% maximum allowed is 22%.

My short term goal is to get my BMI under 20%. My long term goal is to get my weight under 180 lbs. and hopefully back to my High School weight of 170.
