Finally! It moved down one number! I have been lifting weights and doing cardio 6 days a week (30 min each) and am so frustrated at how STUCK the scale is. However, I see changes in how clothes fit so I know that muscles are going and fat is melting...very, very slowly.

Today I see 144.4, a number that I have not seen in a long time. Woohoo! My goal is 130 but my real goal is 130 with muscle and low body fat (between 18-20%) so the number 130 is arbitrary. If I get to 135 with muscle and see the body fat % come in line, then I will be happy there.

I am counting my macros and my target is 40/40/20, protein, carbs and fat respectively. I workout 6 days a week. 4 of those is 30 minutes of strength training and 30 minutes of cardio and the other 2 are 30 minutes of cardio. I am very motivated and even though the numbers on the scale are not moving quickly (I cheated with wine), I am seeing changes in how clothes fit and feel muscles building.
I LOVE lifting weights. My early morning workouts focus my mental energies and rev up my spirit for the entire day. When I am lifting, all I think about is keeping good form and doing 'one more rep'. This is the only time of the day when I feel so focused because my job pulls me in many directions, sometimes, simultaneously.
I am mid way through my 3rd week and am using bodybuilding.com for my workout schedule. It is a 12 week plan so I expect to hit my target weight for Christmas.
