I ran 4.4 miles this morning in 55 minutes. I started out walking as Cortland NY is very hilly. Walking on the downhill side isn't much of a workout, though. Once I started running I couldn't stop.

Well, I derailed hard for the past several months. Why the hell did I let that happen?!?!?! Oh, I know, it's way easier to be fat and lazy than fit and committed... I'm not sure what form of diet I will do this time... probably just counting calories and tracking.
I started going to the gym before work last week doing cardio to start and took my mt bike out for an hour+ yesterday. I find it really hard to go to they gym after working 10 hours. I have been waking up at 4:45, which is only 30 minutes earlier than normal, but getting everything ready for work the night before. I wake up, grab coffee, drive to work (gym is at work), work out, shower and I start working at 6:30 to 6:45. It is good to be back!

Well, time to get serious again. Just back from two weeks of vacation (and around 3 months of not eating right and not exercising). I'm up 10 pounds and want to get back to 189 in four weeks. I need to get in shape for skin diving and spearing fish in Bahamas. I'm going over June 21 for 5 days on my boat and hopefully one or two other times for tuna fishing between now and then. MUST...GET...IN...SHAPE!
