Will the real me please stand up??? I am tired of being fat. I want to be proud of myself again. I was really active in highschool and each year since have gotten a little bigger. My goal is 135, currently I am at 255 I have 120 to loose.

I want my family to be proud of me. I have a 3 1/2 yr old and I don't want to be the FAT Mom, kids can be so mean, I don't want him to suffer embaressment because of me.

Also trying to get preggo again and don't want to start from this weight.

Help, Stalled
Hi Audrey,

I will look into the candida. Maybe that is effecting me. I was also thinking it took me a long time to get this big and maybe my body just wants to be sure I will keep feeding it before it will let me loos any weight. I am down 1 pound this morning. So I will enjoy that today and hope it is still gone tomorrow. Smile Yesterday I was at 38 net carbs and 2000 calories and lost. Smile I will try to repeat that today.

Help, Stalled
Hi, You are right I am off on Sunday's and Monday's and sometimes forget to update my food log. I went back in and filled in the gaps. Currently I am striving for carbs to be at 30-35 and calories 1800-2000. I realized twice this week I didn't manage to get breakfast in. I had appts and I volunterred at my son's preschool Monday and didn't eat until lunch except for some coffee. Then had early Dr. appt Wednesday and found out my poor boy has walking pneumnia. So this week has been a little out of whack, but I have been stuck for about 2 months now.

I stalled during induction and moved to OWL thinking that would help. Then I added in more veggies. Still nothing. I am getting about 8 hours of sleep a night. I am taking supplements fish oil omega 3's, prenatal vitamin, B12, evening primerose oil. I started working out again 5 of the last 6 days. I was also advised to get my carbs and calories up as my body may still be in starvation mode. So I am trying to do that.

Help, Stalled
Trying to stay positive. I need to see some progress. I have varied my approach and still no change. UGH!!!! Been stalled since induction. I lost 10 pounds the first 2 weeks and have gone up 2 down 3 up 3 down 1 up 2, down 1. I have been doing Atkins since 05/01/09 and as of today still at 10 pound mark. I have tried moving up to OWL. Increasing my carbs and calories and veggies. Even started working out 5 of the last 6 days. Nothing is breaking me out of this stall. I have 120 to loose and starting to get discouraged. Doubt Any help is appreciated.
