Monday was a good day, if only I were retired. followed my diet plan and even made sure I got in my vegetable servings. I find the treadmill extremely boring so have taken to watching a netflix movie on my kindle while walking. Yesterday I was so involved in the movie I actually put in an extra 15 minutes. Today I woke before my first alarm (I set three in case I want to snooze) and had a leisurely breakfast and time to journal.
Goals for this week are at least 5 days on the treadmill and the weekend will be yard work weather permitting. I need to steam mop the floors and stairs and entry way. I also need to clean my closet. I have more clothes than I will ever wear that I inherited from my mom. I need to find those that are 'me' and donate the rest. Hopefully by spring I will have to buy some new smaller stuff. Long term goal that is.

Hey, better day, got in my hour of walking, finished my laundry and unpacked.
I am having a hard time coming off the 'eat everything' of yesterday. I am so a binge eater. Today I have snuck in about 300 empty calories of 'feel good' food. I am still well below a maintain #. If only I had done that yesterday, stopped at the break even point. But that was yesterday, can't have a redo, just have to learn and try and figure out how to prevent doing it again. I didn't plan to eat extra, I guess that was the mistake. If I can plan on a calorie splurge I also can plan where to stop. Tomorrow is the day I weigh in. It will be interesting to see where I am after the last week of being totally off any type of schedule.

finally home, traveling all day. tired and mind set is not where it should be. recording all i eat at least. good or bad. will rest tonight and wake up fresh and focused.

I did not do any dedicated exercise on Wednesday but was actively doing touristy shopping and walking around. I was very careful about what I ate because I knew we would have takeout for dinner. A very delicious hamburger fries and a beer. sort of felt guilty and worried but after looking at the days total calories I did okay. thursday is a day of travel. just remember to plan and record and things will be okay.
bought some clothes,, pants are down a size but my apple shape belly still feels more comfortable in 2x even though a 1x fits. one day i hope to get over the baggy clothes hide my weight mindset. baby steps, baby steps.
