Goal Weight:143.3 lb
following: LCHF: Low carb, High fat / Ketogenic Diet
performance: losing 0.9 lb a week

I managed to get rid of a chunk of weight before joining fatsecret and the last few kg's have been a challenge..but I am determined :) I don't mind being a work in progress as long as I keep moving forward. My choice in nutrition for a lifetime of inflammation fighting foods is keto i.e. high to medium-fat (healthy fats), adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate lifestyle. I aim to keep my net carbs below 50g a day. If I am craving something "bad" on the weekend, I enjoy every bite and get back to conscious choices, with the very next meal :) I have tried many things and this is by far; for me the most healthy, effective, natural, enjoyable & sustainable. Did I mention absolutely delicious! I wish you well on your journey and great success in finding what works well for you!

Never...ever give up ♥ ♥ ♥

Healthy Snacks
Hey Saige18 whenever I feel like a snack....I always reach for salty...spicy or savoury things. My tastebuds are just wired that way. Here are a couple of idea's of favourite go-to's on my website....and there's all sorts from guacomole, tzatziki, cheese crackers, veggie "chips" You can check them out here

Here are a few recipes for that sweet urge:

DRINK-o-POP JELLO

1 sachet Drink-o-Pop, any flavour
20 g gelatine
200 ml boiling water
800 ml ice cold water

Dissolve the cool drink and gelatine in the boiling water. Add the cold water and mix well. Pour in jelly moulds or lolly sticks, and leave in the refrigerator to set.

JELLY CHEESECAKE

This recipe is super easy to make, and it is light and fluffy after a heavy meal. You can double the recipe or a thicker cheesecake, or to feed more guests. You can make this really special by making the cheesecake in individual glasses, and serve with whipped cream and/or berries or strawberries.

1 packet of sugarfree jelly, any flavour
125 ml boiling water
250 ml cream
250 g cream cheese, softened

Dissolve the jelly in the boiling water and leave to cool. Whip the cream. Beat the cream cheese until smooth and gradually add the jelly to the cream cheese. Fold the whipped cream into the jelly mixture. Pour the mixture into a jelly mould and leave in the refrigerator to set.

LOWCARB CUSTARD

300 ml cream
3 eggs
30 ml sweetener or to taste
10 ml vanilla essence

Heat the cream slowly to just before boiling point. Beat the eggs, sweetener and vanilla together. Mix some of the heated cream into the egg mixture, and then add the egg mixture tot the cream. Reduce heat and simmer, while stirring continuously, for 10 minutes until thick and creamy. Be careful that the cream does not boil – it will curdle. Serve warm or cold.

Diabetic's daily sugar data
You can track your carbs which are basically sugars in the body. Alternatively if you click on My Profile.... At the bottom of the page you can tick up to 6 different macros and sugar is one of them. Unfortunately at this stage it is only one's weight which can be recorded.

weight lifting and Low Carb????
Being an epileptic the best plan for you is keto. Have you cleared all of this with your specialist. Seen you go to ICU so many times.Would be awful if you take a turn for the worse.
