GAINing weight?!?!
Forgetfullucy: thank you! Lol yes I do have some lowdays, but I try and keep it just a little lower than my RDI.
OnecrazyHorse: great idea! I I met with a nutritionist and based on my body fat % and age etc my metabolic rate is around 1475, not 1900. I'm going to change my height on this site to get better accuracy. I think that difference (about 400calories) will really help me. My new goal is to try and consume 1400-1475cal/day not less.
RyanC: that is true- sometimes I forget that protein is not only better for you but has longer lasting effects than carbs when I "eat for energy"
SSweightloss: you're slowly killing yourself-its a bit extreme. There's a big difference btwn cutting calories and hardly consuming any. As women were made to hape boobs and hips and thighs-its unnatural to try an erase that.

Thanks to everyone for their input. I just want to remind everyone that we're all here to better ourselves and our health. Whether or not we agree with anyones methods or goals, we should be here for encouragment-not to make people feel bad about themselves. Its one thing to express concern, and another to be mean-spirited.

GAINing weight?!?!
hey runesinger! just recalculated my RDI, im 20, 146lbs, 5'9" and i put "sedentary" and "moderate weightloss" and still got 1900! Sad hmmm....you have some great advice, and you are spot on in what you've noticed! i just get so afraid to eat anything sometimes because of how "bad" ive been in the days before. The worst part is I run a gym and can give all the advice in the world to other people, i just cant seem to stick to it myself. i can only seem to lose it when i eat a menu limited to Fage yogurt, steamed veggies and grilled chicken with protein shakes in between.

GAINing weight?!?!
So I've been recording everything I've eaten down to the last drop of ketchup, each day I bank btwn 200-800 calories, but I'm gaining weight! I don't know why this is. Has anyone else had this problem? And advice?

New and looking for buddies!
Hey!! Thx for all the replies! I can tell this will be great! My wedding is 5/22/11 (hopefully May's wedded bliss will rub off on me too!). my weight has always yo-yoed...my body is very happy at the weight it is at and doesn't want to change- I'm just hoping that the stress of planning isn't going to make my weight derail completely. Anyone from NY?

New and looking for buddies!
Hey! I'm new here and am trying to get the last few (15) ounds off before my wedding. I'm looking for a few buddies to keep in touch with to help stay motivated. I was a vegan for 6 yerars and it was the easiest for me to keep the weight off then, but I can't manage it now because of the carnivore my fiance is-he believes everything needs cheese and gravy lol. Just looking for some real people who don't live off of wheat grass alone to be buddies with!
