I didn't lose weight, I finally bought a scale. Now I can say without question that I've put on about 12 pounds in 6 months. Now to get it off. Eeeeekkkkk.

Much has happened in my life; all of it good except the gradual weight gain. I've now reached the point where denial is not working anymore. I'm gaining weight, I'm stress eating; I need to get a grip.
For me when faced with change regardless if it's good or bad change; I react by harboring stress. This turns into excessive behavior and in my case overeating. There ... enough beating myself up. I will buy a scale this week. I moved and got rid of about 90% of my belongings (they didn't work in the new house)including the bathroom scale. My low weight was 122 and I would guess I'm around 138 right now, maybe higher.
Enough about me. Time to read all about you and get motivated.

The weekend was a mini-disaster food wise in that I didn't really watch my intake. One of the blessings when socializing and being a vegetarian is that people rarely have the right foods for you so you don't end up over eating however ... you're also semi-starved and eat stupid stuff like chips and cake (ugh) when you've made an oink of yourself at the fruit and veggie trays. I'm fine, back on the treadmill this morning, vega drink and onward. I'm not weighing myself until the end of the week. As I like to say "Today is a new day with no mistakes in it" :)

I haven't been posting my food or exercise routine. Why? Because I'm now juggling a new schedule to accommodate a new person in my life :)
Dieting is interesting while dating. I'm doing well for the most part except for routine foods so at restaurants it's salad, veggie foods only and no dressings etc. Exercise is critical and I'm doing my level best. I will not go back to fat.
