Not exactly a pound and a half in a day. That was just my last 'remembered' weight. I reweighed myself last night and this morning and I was at 137.5
Also measure my waist at 29in. Hate to say it. :( At my thinnest/leanest though I was 26in.

Ever since my injuries in October I have failed to get back into a workout routine. I have just bought some new workout videos, along with the ones I already have, I should be able to mix it up enough to keep things interesting.
Time to start again! I hate this yo-yo thing, but now at least I have something to do when it's too cold outside, or when I'm not swimming masters. I tend to have a good motivation level once I get started so. Here we go again.

Got a leg cramp on race day halfway through the race. :(
They were taking the top 65 finishers, and were going to hire 60 guards. I'm sure I would've made it if my leg did start spazing!

T - 1 day
I did it! Yesterday I swam 1000m in a choppy, semi cold ocean! Must have been like 67 degrees F. It actually felt warmer than the water on Sunday afternoon! I'm so excited for tomorrow now! At least I know for sure I can complete the entire swim in the ocean without stopping for the most part (some stops where just to find out where I was, in the race I'll be able to spot the big buoy). My boyfriend's brother swam with me last night, and I'm so grateful as it helped with motivation to actually get to the beach and swim, and then not stop. We also ran back to our starting point. Since I'm a runner I got in a grove and just started crusin'. The whole thing took me 44 minutes from parking to returning to my car. Not bad I'd say. So I'm assuming the actual swim took around 20 - 25 minutes.
Have to be up early tomorrow for the race! But I think I'm ready!
