I wish I could ignore that red "Weigh In Now!" notification, but it bugs me, so I must be honest and weight in even though my period started today. Bad timing!

Going away for a weekend trip this afternoon, so a lovely mountain road trip is just what the soul needs! I'm going to really watch what I eat because I can feel the sugar cravings (PMS) coming on and picking up speed. Just as well me and my pantry are going to be separated for most of this weekend or it could get ugly!
It really sucks how easily it is to get back to wanting carbs/sugar once you eat it with any kind of regularity. Really is unfair, but I guess I should stop writing about the white stuff...see where my head is!

Weight is holding steady much to my relief. I've had low calorie days and higher calorie days (not by design, but by life) and this is what I know works for me being in maintenance: you can eat a bit of everything, but you must always watch the portions. It's nice to know that you don't have to say no to any food you enjoy, but being mindful is the key to maintaining your current weight. This is why I stay diligent to log everyday.
I understand that my calorie totals at the end of day can be 100-300 calories over or under the real count, so I try to keep my calories (according to FS) around 1000/day.
I would love to hear what works for everyone else in maintenance.
Happy Memorial Day!

Emotionally and mentally drained this week. Thank goodness it's Friday and for sleeping in. It is very hard to have a strong run when your head cannot engage, but at least I did something. This is where a formed habit comes in handy. You just go on auto-pilot.
Life is hard sometimes. Just keep going because tomorrow is another day.

Yesterday was a bad day. Teenagers. One day at a time I guess unless the stress gets to me first.
I did not mean to intentionally eat so little calories, but there simply was no hunger because of the teen drama. Life is always throwing curve balls. We best be good at catching.
