As I've had to change my diet with the no dairy and sugar, I've inadvertently lost a bit of weight. Not a lot, but cutting out sugar is doing it. I miss sugar, but my chin has cleared up, so this motivates me to stay away from the stuff.

No more Halloween candy! Actually, I've had to take 95% of sugar out of my diet not for weight loss purposes (as I've never done that), but for skin reasons. I find my hormones balance themselves out nicely and my skin clears up when sugar and especially diary are limited big time. So, this is my lot in life...I guess we all have our dietary crosses to bear. Now, I must accept this fact not for losing weight, but for other health reasons.
Have a good weekend everyone!

Even though I'm not logging anymore, my mind is doing an internal log whenever I eat. It's good to know this habit has taken root!
Weight has been holding pretty steady even though I haven't weighed in for awhile. I know when it's time to reign in the calories by my clothes - is my main safeguard. When you can get into the habit of monitoring yourself when only 1-3 lbs creeps up on you; it's not a biggie to get that off.
Enjoy your day everyone!

Mindful eating and eating only when hungry. Those two conscious choices will keep me where I want to be. This requires a life-long commitment to being disciplined; which is not fun, but that's reality. I'd rather be in control than not.

I think the logging training wheels are coming off as of today. Tracking what I eat for these past 10 months or so has made all the difference, but like everything else in life: it all must come to an end. However, if I see my weight creeping back up; I will get back on that tracker faster than you can say butterball! I need to be able to maintain my weight now without the help of tracking my food everyday, and I'm confident I know my portions pretty well. So, I will continue to weigh in and read what my fellow FS buddies are up to; as some of you continue to inspire me, but my daily food and activity logging is finished unless I totally screw up maintaining my weight.
Stay faithful to being healthy and mindful my FS friends and I wish you all a good week!
