Does anyone else ever feel this way...?
I just joined Weight Watchers for the 3rd time in my life. I have been "morbidly obese" since I was 5 years old. Getting started and maintaining momentum have always been a problem for me. My heaviest period was during the 1990s,at 5'10" I weighed 320lbs. I managed to lose weight and get down to 240lbs but now I weigh 288lbs which is my new high.

The weird thing though is that after having been in the 300lbs for so long I got used to people ignoring me or making fun of me. So as I lose weight people are suddenly acting "especially friendly".... This just really bothers me when they didn't want to know me when I was heavier... So this "suddenly friendly" effect often annoys me and can trigger me to seek my comfort foods...

Has anyone else ever felt that way or have I created an emotional crutch that enables me to pull the comfort food trigger?
