I'm a 56 year old guy who lives in Tennessee. I'm 6'2" tall and currently weigh 172 lbs. My quest for weight loss actually started on July 16, 2014. I weighed 249 lbs. Since the Summer of 2015, within a pound +/-, I've essentially hit my weight loss goal. So now it's been a matter of maintenance. On my 3 year anniversary on July 16, 2017, I weighed 175 lbs

I run 30 miles week. I've added spin class, elliptical machine, and weights to keep cardio and muscle mass up; weight down.

So, I guess this is the last update for awhile. Good luck everyone.

Road race
Thank you! Several years ago I was addicted to running. Time passed, stuff happens, etc. But with my first race in some time Saturday, there was this kind of fellowship, a kind of fraternity, that for most, it didn't matter about your time. What mattered was that you were there; that you were one of "them", a runner. So, after this 5-miler, next up a 5-k next month. Stoked. Weight keeps going down and energy keeps going up. Thanks for your comments and support. JG

Road race
Ran in a 5-mile race for charity Saturday, September 20, 2014.

Gonna enter more races this Fall. Only been training for this since mid-Summer, hence part of the reason for losing weight. Anticipate losing more as kcal's keep being reduced and exercise levels continue
