gaining 0.3 lb a week

So... I started back on this diet a little over a week ago. I lost about 3 lbs and then my daughter started getting REALLY fussy. She literally cried all day last Friday and would barely eat or sleep. Well, I looked into her symptoms and it looks like she may have reflux. She has all but one of the signs of it. Since I'm breastfeeding, there is a list of foods that I can't have (or shouldn't have) that would help with her reflux if I didn't have them. I can't have any milk products (including cheese), oats, or hardly any of the fruits and vegetables. Well, that covers almost all of the things on Phase I and basically leaves very few things that I can eat.
Therefore, it looks like I won't be able to do this diet for a while... unless she outgrows the reflux or I stop breastfeeding. BTW.. I plan on breastfeeding her until she's 1 year old. Who knows though.... maybe since I have a limited diet and I'm not allowed to have any fatty foods, I'll lose the weight. We'll see. Good luck to everyone else tho.

She has arrived! On November 26, 2008 I went to the doctor to have an ultrasound done because my due date was November 24th. They wanted to check the measurements of the baby. The ultrasound said that she was 9 lbs 12 oz and that her abdomen and shoulders were bigger than normal. The doctor was afraid that her head would come out but not the rest of her, which would have been a nightmare. So, she sent me to the hospital to have a c-section that same day.
Leah Elisabeth was born on November 26th at 2:50 p.m. She was 9 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long.
I weighed 190 lbs when I went in to have her. I'm down to 160 lbs almost 2 weeks later. Obviously I'm not allowed to exercise after having a c-section for 6-8 weeks. However, nursing burns lots of calories. I haven't been the best with my eating lately but I haven't been horrible. I'm hoping to get a little more strict with the diet this week and take advantage of the calories being burned by nursing a lot to replace the exercise.
I have no clothes to wear since I was a size 8 before she was born. So, I have summer maternity clothes and one pair of jogging pants that I wear everyday. (don't worry, I do wash them) lol

Today is the first time I've been on this website since I last posted. It looks like so many of you are doing so well! Congrats on that!
I am due to have this baby this Monday, November 24th. I didn't do as well with the weight as I hoped but I have confidence that (especially with nursing) I'll be able to lose the extra weight pretty quickly. I'm hoping the baby will be born before Monday but we'll see.
Oh.... and I'm having a girl!! :) So, I'll have to post a picture once she's here. My son is so excited about having a little sister. Her name will be Leah Elisabeth. :)

Well... It looks like I won't be doing this diet until next year (Jan, 2009). I just found out that I'm pregnant!! :) So... I'm going to try to eat as healthy as I can. I was 160 lbs when I got pregnant with my son. This time I was 135 lbs when I got pregnant. So... that's a pretty big difference. :) I'm due Nov. 24th.
Good luck to everyone! I'll try to check in periodically! My goal is to get everything ready for this baby coming, tho! :)
