Day 11 of the "New Me" Hmmmmm what's going on with the "New Me"? Recognized a few triggers today, that was good. Slept in a bit, which is not necessarily "good" but I knew last night I was going to need a bit more rest so I changed my alarm wake up time. I gave myself permission to relax tonight! Lots of stress at work and trying to plan a vacation along with a birthday party out of state can be very taxing. HOWEVER, not stuffing my feelings into my mouth by way of Doritos, Red Vines, and BREAD.... Is progress! "New Me" is going to ROCK!!

Day 9 of the "New Me" Feeling pretty good. I don't feel like I am starving myself to death. I'm down 7 lbs, always get that extra boost when you FIRST start a diet, I know there will be weeks where the scale BARELY moves. I've been down this path before, but I am REALLY hoping by being on here and having support of others in the group, I will stick with this, through the plateaus....

Thoroughly enjoyed my day! Monday, first of the month duties and a staff meeting to kick off the week, first thing?? I don't know what has gotten into me, I'm just HAPPY! I feel pretty darn good that I didn't "gain" any weight over the weekend. I ALWAY gain a couple/few pounds.
Planning my vacation next month. Taking my son to see family and a trip to a cool lodge and water park. It is a surprise for him. I'm already thinking that I am going to pack a collapsible cooler and make sure I take some "low cal" foods with us so that I can avoid eating out EVERY meal. I'm convinced that "planning" what I eat, really is key to continuing to lose. Thanks to those that have listened and commented, it really does help.

Urgh, I dread the week every month where I put on 5-10 lbs no matter what I eat! Even taking pamprin doesn't seem to keep the water weight away. I know the scale will drop significantly when it's done but it's depressing right now! LOL! But, at least I made it through the weekend without a single piece of chocolate and didn't not completely fall off the wagon. Even passed on a pint of some new Irish Dark Ale. I just need to stay focused.
