Do you eat all your calories?
I eat around 10-12 carbs/day ... it easy to keep track if you use the calculator on site ... you don't have to weigh anything its all been done for you ...if you don't keep track its much harder to really know how many carbs or how much protein & fat you are consuming ... yes, and if you get it right you should not be hungry between meals ...

its not all about the number of calories but what those calories comprise if you eat a higher percentage of carbs & protein you will be hungry & angry too possibly. Its about being in ketosis ie changing your fuel source to fat ... my daily % calorie intake is minimum 80% fat, maximum 15% protein & maximmum 5% carbs ...after a week or two you wont be hungry ... sugars & starches are the killers if you want to be on a keto diet .... but it is a lifestyle not something part time ... and before I get jumped on this is IMHO

yes thats exactly what I have been telling people here ... its a lifestyle not a diet .... not a temporary part time thing ... for me ketosis is working beautifully I have a dud knee also, waiting for surgery .... I have lost 16Kg in around 8 months and I'm aiming at losing another 20 over the next 12 months ... I eat a max of 1400cals a day I'm 120Kg at the moment I check my blood ketones and blood glucose at least daily ... I'm hi fat low carb but I don't eat much red meat ... mainly a small amount of fish or chicken (organic).... not for everyone but its working for me .... my eldest son & his wife are marathon runners and are also on keto path ... for energy & stamina though, not weight loss .... they both have seen huge improvements in most areas, endurance, recovery etc.

Yep I average between 1,00 to 1,300/day around 50% of my fatsecret daily allowance and I'm in ketosis and losing weight & feeling satisfied and generally gr8
