I am travelling for the next 6 days. I'll be parted from my fancy scale. My husband dissuaded me from packing it because he said I would have to unpack it for TSA. Wouldn't that be hilarious, though?!

After fasting I am seeing some weight loss, when I am not fasting, I gain some but not all of it back, so still edging downward.

I am present this morning to how happy I am and how much I love my life. My circumstances are not much changed, though they are improving, but, more than that, my point of view has shifted to one of peace and happiness and living in the now. Guided meditation has helped, Landmark training has been key, connecting with God through prayer has been a real surprise. I thought I was a lost cause. I always wanted to be like my grandma and more and more these days, I see her in me.

I'm fasting for 36 hours again. I'm 15 hours in and feeling fine. I took my husband through the Burger King drive through and had no desire to eat anything there. Knowing the havoc that kind of food wreaks on my body makes it seem less appetizing. What is a temptation for me right now is all the yummy fruit sitting around and me fretting about how it's going to spoil before I can get to it. Still, my husband and stepson are doing a great job of eating the produce so it doesn't go to waste. My MIL brought over some of the amazing meatloaf that she makes and that's the first thing I'm eating after the fast!
