Sarah is back!
after I was super fit between march and june and participated in three 10k runs (my best one in 55mins) ... I got sick... After 3 weeks of pause lying in bed I found myself having excuses again for an other 3 weeks of being healthy.
Three weeks ago, when I realized, that my jeans don't fit me anymore that well, I started again. Gosh, after 6 weeks of not running, I had to start nearly all over again.
Twice I ran for 30 Minutes, a week later I decided to sign in for a
half marathon
that will be on the 21st of september!! :)
Sounds crazy, but I kept on running, because I always had a goal (like a 10k run in 3 weeks..) This long break was only because there was no more competicion in the next time..
So the second week of training I went twice, 7k each, it took me one hour..so slow!! Then the third week I did 8k in about 50 minutes. For this week I started today with 9,5k at 57 minutes. So I am fit again.
5 more weeks to actually run a half marathon!!
My tummy is as it was in january. 69cm. Though I weigh a kilo more.
I found 2 new buddies at my university. A guy, who wants to join me at the fishermens friends strongmen run in May 2015, and a girl, that wants to do some 10k runs this automn. Perfect! =)
Having buddies to run with is the best one can do. I have 3 people, that run with me regularly when I feel like staying at home. Its a great motivation. I wouldn't have done all that running without them.
Goal for this week:
Wednesday: 11km
friday or saturday: 13km
