Eating out and food cooked by husband has made it difficult to track so I gave up. Going to start taking charge and tracking again. It's helpful to know where I'm at daily calorie wise so I don't lose sight. I was starting to lean more towards OMAD with a snack at lunch but life doesn't always work out that way.
It is slow going, but I remind myself, my goal is to look and feel great. Cutting the carbs has made me a lot less swollen and bloated. I fit into my clothes better.

Not sure why I picked Tuesday to log my weight. I could've had a bigger loss if I logged Monday. QQ.
Work has been really busy, that I forget to drink water. I was physically at work from 8:00 am to 7:20 pm yesterday. Not sure how people with kids managed. Maybe I'm just bad at setting boundaries for myself.
I know, there's always more work to be done but there are deadlines to meet and timelines to keep up with.

Non scale victory, just video chatted with my mom who is literally half a world away (13 hrs ahead of me) said I looked slimmer. It was just my face since I was in a hoodie but I’ll take it.

I thought this was going to be a gain since I have fluxed 3-4 lbs this past week.
Haven't really been tracking and have been a little lax on carbs recently time to tighten the belt and start tracking again. Especially since I know bloating week is going to be coming up.
On another note, a plus for working from home is that no one can tell whether or not I have a face mask on. I can get some self-care in between Zoom meetings haha.

TLDR; Maintained weight. Want smart scale recommendations. Burned face. I love avocados.
Oh boy, where to begin. I am always doubting my weight loss even if I've lost inches whether or not I've lost fat or if it's just water. I constantly doubted myself when I was losing weight in 2015. Even after 16 lbs down I thought, that was just water weight and I haven't lost any fat yet 🤷♀️. My brain does weird things. I think it's time to invest in a smart scale. Also not looking to break the bank so sub $25 preferred. I've seen the Wyze scale, does anyone have any recommendations?
While I haven't been tracking consistently, I managed to maintain my weight which is good. Between Sports ball Sunday and Valentine's day, I ate what I ate and after just went back to eating smaller portioned meals.
Valentine's day brings me to my next point, I burned spots into the right side of my face trying to cook steak for dear husband and myself. Oil splattered on my face, I wiped it off, ran cold water over my face in the kitchen sink. I got a small 1/4" blister that is gone now due to mask on mask off, and 3 other small spots that scabbed over. Cried about it but now I'm ok. It happened, steak was delicious but not worth my face so next steak is going to be cooked by my DH.
And lastly, I feel cheated. Even though it's me cheating myself out of food. I'm just really bad at judging how much I'm actually eating without measuring, I underestimate and overestimate all the time. I usually just log 1 whole hass avocado but avocados vary greatly in weight. The biggest boy avocado I've weighed is 240g and a big one today one of 168g. I guess it just depends on the overall size of the fruit and the stone. I don't normally buy big ones, I stick to the smaller ones because they are cheaper. I'm curious now how much the smaller ones weigh now since according to FS 1 avocado is 150g.
