I feel no desire at all to either work out or diet. Something is wrong, but can't quite put my finger on it. I know that the hardest thing to do is start. I should just work out today and forget the whole nonsense that a diet starts on Monday.

I have some friends coming from Monterey, Mexico. I want to show them a good time around town, but I don't want to carry my extra weight with me. I sorry extra fat, but you are not invited!
My goal is to lose 14lbs by August 1st. Which shouldn't be too bad because it is only 2lbs/wk. I hope I can do it.

I am so excited! I got on the scale today and I weight 172.5 a big difference from 185 in April 29. Dieting and exercise is really hard but seeing that number this morning makes it worth all the work.
Who knew that losing 12.5lbs would make me feel so good. I feel healthier, more in control, calm and strong! I no longer feel that being healthy is such a drag. It’s actually pretty simple. I feel more knowledgeable of the things that are good/bad for me and that is the most important thing, know how the foods I eat impact my body and mind.
