Hiit
YOu're very depressing, Spacey. LOL HIIT is for everyone, and never in a million years is my 100% going to be as fast as an elite athlete's 100%. But I can still do my 100%, and that's what counts. AS for not being able to do it on a treadmill. Rubbish. Have you never needed to sneeze, talk to someone, need a bloody rest, like, RIGHT NOW? You just jump on the sides and then rejoin the track (please hold on whilst rejoining LOL ) Don't be put off, guys.
Also, RCKC. Why wait until the new year? 1 set of HIIT can probably be done RIGHT NOW. It takes 4 minutes. I don't believe anyone can't manage 4 minutes at least a couple of times a day. Get 'seconds pro' on your phone now...and just do it!
YOu will feel great x

Don't run, walk
I've done my own little survey, and it depends on your fitness level. It's about getting your heart rate up. My sister is walking faster than she normally does, but slow for my liking and she gets her heart rate right up and burns stacks of calories. She is very unfit. A fitter person can walk extremely fast, and not get the heart rate up so much and therefore burns less calories prorater. However a fitter person can walk for longer at the same pace. It's still a fantastic exercise and gets you into the fat burn zone!
