I'm 40 year's old, happily married with two children. Without realising I had stopped thinking about me and started to turn into a plumpish mummy who would put everyone else first. Last year a friend asked me if I went to the gym or did any exercise? (I was having a moan about my 40th birthday looming and not feeling like doing anything.) It was really only then that I later took a look at my reflection in the mirror and realised I had allowed myself to pile on too many pounds over the last few years. I decided it was time to do something about it..... I dieted, walked, ran a little but had an accident, which I let put me off course :(
I'm better know after physio etc, so here I go again!

I have a pear shaped figure size 10 on top with a tiny waist and and a hippy size 14 bottom. I've recently taken up running using the NHS couch to 5K and have decided to pay more attention to what I actually eat in order to get fit and loose some weight too. My body goal is to have a smaller bottom half (fingers crossed). FatSecret is great for keeping me accountable and on track and I'm already finding saying no to treats/naughty foods easier. My husband has also taken up running and since I have joined Fatsecret he is eating healthier too, which also makes meal times easier.
