Today is my birthday! This is a milestone for me not because of what I'm turning (24) but because it was one year from today that I decided to change my life. My weight has been up and down throughout the year but I have had a net weight loss of about 15 pounds that I have kept off So I am really proud of myself. I really think I have aquired much better healthy habits that are gonna last.

Now, I cannot lie, it is my birthday and I decided to have my birthday cupcake for breakfast instead of waiting intul after lunch, lmao, but I haven't had a treat from my favorite bakery since my last birthday. I def didn't think I could go a whole year without that! So I am proud of that too. I think I have done pretty good. I have been extra lenient this week so the scale will go up a little but I will easily get back on track. Somehow I managed to have the majority of my weightloss during th holidays last year so I actually looking forward to them as extra motivation to keep up the good work.

I definitely don't think I could have gotten this far and had these results without all of your support and advice, so thank you so much buddies, and I look forward to continuing the journey with you an finishing what I started, even if it takes me another year to lose the other 15 pounds :D

Well I'm scared to record losses now because I hate recording the following gains from just fluctuating...but the scale has read 158.4 for 2 days and it read 157.8 this morning? I think it might be safe because I think it is a real loss! :) I passed the pants test this morning so it has to be. I think doing weights again is what is making the difference. And this might not make sense but I started the pill again and it's a 3 month cycle so TOM only comes 4 times of the year now- which is awesome- but my period each month was throwing my weight off like 2 weeks out of the month so I think it is easier to see progress without having him visit so often.

Seeing results no matter how tiny really help me stay motivated to work out and eat right too so I think things are gonna pick up for me. I'm disappointed that I still can't seem to write in the food diary everyday. You woukld think having so much free time now would let me but I get since I'm not in front of a computer all day in an office anymore.
