losing 0.5 lb a week

Well, I have been going for a while on my diet, but I think it would be helpful if I kept a journal here.
I have been overweight all my life, from childhood. When I was 30 I reached a peak of 97.2 kilos, which is a lot on my short 158 and relatively small frame. My fatpercentage was through the roof, though I don't recall now how much.
I decided to lose the weight, and did so with the Cambridge diet, as my friend had successfully lost 64 kilos with it. I lost 33 within 18 months myself and at 64 my size was still relatively big. I didn't look fat but I looked a bit chubby. Light bones and very little muscle I suppose.
I wanted to lose some more but I was about to get married and emigrate, and didn't fancy going into my honeymoon with just shakes. I decided I would pick it up again after the move and once I've settled a bit.
Fast forward 2 years later. I had not picked it up again. In fact, I had learned baking and became a fairly good cook, and my husband and others enjoyed my concoctions in the kitchen so much (as did I!) that I found it far more enjoyable to put lovely meals and cakes and biscuits on the table than to worry about my health.
A month ago I found myself hitting 100 kg. That's when I grabbed myself by the scruff of my neck and decided I would get back to Cambridge immediately. I know where I went wrong. I did not build back up gradually to a normal diet, did not have any maintenance period. I won't skip that part this time.
By the time I had found fatsecret I had already lost about 5 kgs but I did not know how to log a weighin in the past. Doesn't matter. In total I have lost about 7 now, but I am far far off from my final goal, which is 50-55.
On we go :)
