Yesterday was a challenge - we went to a professional baseball game and oh, how the hot dogs and other junk foods were calling my name. We ate before we went to the ballpark (I had 2 vegan hot dogs with my veggie sloppy joe mix on top of them) but it wasn't the same.
Our friends took a picture of me and my hubby and when I saw my fat arms, it shut my appetite down.

I know I just weighed in yesterday, but hey, there's a lower number on the scale today so I had to record it ;o)
I am doing the New Lifestyle diet (like Medifast) but instead of doing a lean and green I am eating vegan. My hubby has gone vegan and I'm getting dragged along. Yes, I know it's a healthy way of eating, I just don't know that I am ready to make the commitment. I find food that I like satisfying and when eating vegan, that doesn't seem to be the case.
The promoters of vegan eating say that the longer you stay with it, the more satisfying the food tastes. Anyway, I'm staying away from meats, dairy, fish, poultry, processed foods, refined sugars, and oil.

So I did good, but not. I was "on program" when not on vacation. When we left on Thursday for vacation, I was down to 185 but after being on vacation and eating normal(Thurs-Sun).I weighed in at 187.5. So I have to be happy with that I guess.
I am back on program today, New Lifestyle. My sister is on Medifast and we are doing this together.

Am I trapped in Ground Hog's day the movie? I seem to keep living the same things over and over again.
I am here - again, fatter than ever - and going to try again. I am 191!! Yeh, at 5'2", not a good look.
I am starting back on my New Lifestyle Diet which is like Medifast. My sister started today as well. We both need to lose 60-70lbs, so why not try together. She IS doing Medifast. I have boxes of food from the last time I was on NLD. It works if you work it. Problem is we have a trip coming up this week - Thus-Sat. So, I'll start now and then do the program again when I get back. It is always going to be something, so I just have to try and do this.
